Selling a lifetime collection of Royal Albert china in the Old English Rose pattern. This nothing like your average china set; it is the revered Royal Albert pattern, a sister to the also-popular Old Country Roses, but often more elusive. These Old English Rose pieces were hand selected over many years, with the great majority of them being "heavy gold" - see photos of the generous and luscious real gold trim on most of these pieces.

Asking price has been set at $4000 plus $500 insured shipping to mainland USA. Offers will be considered. Considering the many completer pieces, the rare pieces, the heavy gold attributes, the popularity of the pattern, and the sheer number of pieces, $4500 is an entirely reasonable price.

Condition Report: Only 7 pieces have issues, and most of these we set aside and are not even in the photos. Photos show the extent of the beauty and massive size of this collection. Each piece has been inspected and this is what we found: 1 egg cup has a nick on rim; the tiered tidbit server is missing a metal separator; the gravy boat is cracked and reglued, but the underplate is ok; one trivet/tile has a minor crack; 1 cup has a reglued base; 1 mug has a chip and reglue at the handle; 1 cup has a crack on the side, about 2".
