Up for auction is a Quaker lot of items, including the 1927 edition of THE BOOK OF DISCIPLINE and several booklets and pamphlets . This entire lot includes:

- HANDBOOK SUGGESTION FOR OVERSEERS, published by Representative Committee of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends. 12 pages, 1933
- REVISED QUERIES. Presented to Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends. 3-page fold-out. 1946
- THE MESSENGER OF PHILADELPHIA YEARLY MEETIN GOF FRIENDS. 4 pages, 1942
- THE BOOK OF DISCIPLINE of the Religious Society Of Friends: Quaker Christian Practice / Business Procedure' Adopted by Philadelphia Yearly Meeting held at Fifteenth and Race Streets. 1927. "Dearly Beloved Friends, these things we do not lay upon you as a rule or form to walk by, but that all, with the measure of light which is pure and holy, may be guided: and so in the light walking and abiding, these may be fulfilled in the Spirit, not in the letter, for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." Postscript to the Letter from the Meeting of Elders at Balby, near Doncaster, 1656, the earliest advice on Christian practice issued by any General body of Friends.

Pamphlets and book are in excellent to near pristine condition. Book is 127 pages.
