This item is a nice collectible for an institution of American industry - Bethlehem Steel.

This is a time book for employees of the steel manufacturer, dated 1931-1934. Nearly all pages are filled-in by year and month, with employee names, job descriptions and hours worked.

Aside from later WWII war production, this was an important period for the company; in the 1930s, the company produced steel and manufactured parts for San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, as well as providing steel for Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF), a new oil refinery in La Plata City, Argentina, which was the tenth-largest in the world.

The book is well worn, but is in complete and an interesting ephemera item. 124 pages.
