If any of you ever faces the challenge of having an estate sale, I want to recommend an absolutely remarkable group of conscientious individuals who recently organised & conducted ours for my late Aunt’s estate. The proprietor of this company also worked on our farm estate sale 2 years prior. She meticulously researches significant items to assure full potential value. As an example, we found an old clay vase in the weeds behind my parents’ garage. We thought we could possibly get $40-$50 for it. Well, this lady researched its origin based on the molded markings on the bottom & found it has historical connections to the Civil War! She put it on her website for auction & we got $1,750.00 for it!! A man from Dallas bought it & drove down to pick it up. He had a softly lined container as if he were going to take a newborn baby home. This summer, while organizing my Aunt’s sale, the lady found a diamond ring that had fallen behind a large piece of furniture. An unscrupulous individual might have “pocketed” this ring & kept it to herself. But, she got it appraised & priced it at $2,230.00. She gave us the choice to keep or sell it. Here’s the website.
