California Auctioneers & Appraisers has served Ventura county since 1964, selling estates, collections, businesses and ranchos.  We are happy to announce celebrating 55 years in business.

Our auctions  now stream live on our website, and we use third party Auction Platforms; allowing international and national bidding with our catalogs being published on internet platforms Liveauctioneers and Invaluable/Auctionzip/Ebay Live. We have reached audiences globally and set records for a number of unusual items.

California Auctioneers was founded in 1963/4 by John W. Eubanks Sr. and Jewell B. Eubanks and remains a family business.

     John Eubanks Jr. M.F.A  University California Berkeley. John has over 40 years of experience selling.  He is a master appraiser, has traveled the country buying and selling antiques in the 80's and has been auctioneering  since 1976.

     Mary Eubanks has traveled the east, buying and selling antiques since 1977.  She is an appraiser and opened Home Sweet Home Antiques in 1977.               maryeubanks@sbcglobal.net

    Jewels Eubanks  is the third generation auctioneer; first selling with his grandfather at age 9, and at California Auctioneer at age 10.  Educated in the theater Jewels has a Fine Arts Conservatory degree in Performance from UCSB and studied, performed, produced and directed with some of the brightest minds in American Theater.  Becoming the Artistic Director of I.C. Theater he directed (off) Broadway, and locally specializing in new works and modern adaptations of the classics.  He has played music, starting his own group (The Family Jewels) and Designed Sound for Theater and Film projects.
