Interested in a consultation?
There are a few things that we kindly ask potential clients take into consideration prior to a consultation. The first request we ask of estate/property owners, is that everything remain completely untouched prior to and after a consultation. We ask that the estate/owners not discard anything at all prior to a consultation. This includes anything that might be perceived as garbage, junk, or outdated. Please contact us before renting that dumpster!
During house consultations, we often find items in discard piles that later garner high levels of interest from bidders in our sales/auctions. This is one reason we believe hiring an estate services professional is crucial, so a client can maximize the profits from a sale. By knowing the market, we are able to pinpoint key items that will reach and exceed our clients expectations for the auction/sale. We are dedicated to our clients by always recognizing what items will likely sell and the best strategy to make the most money for our clients. Gander & Gavel Auction Co. LLC also actively networks extensively with notable and well known area collectors, long time antique dealers, antiques enthusiasts, and other estate professionals. We also advertise extensively through social media, print advertisements, auction websites, and other avenues. In addition to print and online advertising, our company also has an active billboard up on a main highway in Goldsboro, NC.
Buyout vs Partial Buyout vs Auction vs Estate Sale (tag sale)?
It'll be sunny (we hope)! Temp 2236.
Buyouts consists of the client selling all contents to the auctioneer for an agreed price with a timeframe for the items to be removed from premises. Partial buyout consists of the client consigning items for auction and selling items to the auctioneer. Auctions can be conducted in our auction house or on site with one pickup day which can minimize the number of customers on the premises at one time with starting bids or reserve bids and auction date agreed upon by both the client and auctioneer; our auctions are online only at this time. Estate Sales are done on site and may last multiple days with possible price changes each day with multiple customers at the premises each day.
