Contracting a company to handle the liquidation of my parent's estate was a task that I dreaded especially while feeling the sadness of the loss of my father. Thank goodness I was referred to ELITE Estates. Jay Phillips and his team understood my grief and gave me the grace to work through the process of letting go of items. Once my family selected the items to keep, we put the remaining contents in their hands. The ELITE team carefully and respectfully combed through each and every item. I was very impressed with their pricing and communication throughout the process. What I didn't expect, and was very pleased to see, was the careful staging for the sale. Items were tastefully grouped and they created a deliberate flow through the house which gave maximum exposure to the contents. The marketing of the sale was also excellent and clearly worked as there was a steady flow of buyers throughout the weekend. Jay was especially courteous to my 83 year old mother, whose house he sold as well as held an estate sale. She was comfortable with him and relaxed with the process. Our family was unexpectedly faced with a situation that forced us to place our elderly mother into a long term nursing care environment. Her limited financial assets resulted in the need to quickly turn our mother's non cash assets into cash to insure we had adequate financial resources to cover her long-term care needs.
