Americana Estate Sales & Liquidations was born almost 10 years ago from two things, a love of the history of our great country and a love of helping other people. For many years we have had a passion for all things Antique, Vintage & Modern, and in that time we have discovered that many great people like yourself are in need of a great company to help sort out the treasures they have spent years collecting.
We understand as well as anyone it is a difficult process for a person or family to part with generations of belongings, especially those that have been handed down from cherished loved ones. However, we believe that by allowing us to lead you in this sometimes difficult process we will make it an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone in your family. My family and I called on Americana when it became clear that it was time to sell my parents house. The house was in Mass, and I live 500 miles away. Jon was very knowledgeable when separating valuable items collected by my parents (and my grandparents) from mundane items, and patient as we gave items to family and friends before the sale. Jon (and the Americana team) took care of everything: research, advertising, staging, pricing, conducting the sale, cleanup, and more. When the sale was complete, any remaining items were removed and the house swept clean!
Throughout, Jon was responsive to all my questions, always available by text or phone, and very easy to work with. If you are considering an estate sale, look no further!

I had such a great experience with Jon and Sissy on the sale of our parents belongings. Jon was in contact with me through the whole process, and they both came over the first time to meet and look over the items. They were honest about what things would sell and things that aren't popular. And they were professional, and at the same time listened to stories about the personal value of some of the items in the house. I definitely recommend them to take away the stress of this daunting task of clearing out your house.

In addition to being genuinely nice people, Jon and Sissy are extremely knowledgeable and professional. We felt in good hands with them after our initial meeting, and throughout the entire sale process, they had our best interests at heart. Jon researched unfamiliar items to determine market value, and the pieces were priced fairly and competitively. Sissy did a terrific job staging the furniture and decorative items to maximize their appeal, and to give the house a homey feel even though we had already moved out. There was plenty of friendly staff on hand and even a delivery service available to assist buyers with moving larger purchases, which definitely boosted sales.
