Established in 1979, Blue Goose Estate Sales LLC is a licensed antiques/estates vendor based in Normal, Illinois. We started as Blue Goose Antiques by selling antiques and vintage collectibles throughout the Midwest and now offer estate tag sales for the Bloomington/Normal area. Both sides of Blue Goose are active companies - Blue Goose Antiques and Blue Goose Estate Sales LLC.

Using our services is likely to be a new situation for you and your loved ones. We understand that families are trying to make the best decisions but have limited experience in what to ask or how to proceed. Our family tries to approach your situation with our full attention and sensitivity. We offer different types of estate sales and services which are designed in consultation with you. We recommend having a personal on-site interview where we can provide recommendations based on your needs. These initial consultations are complimentary and typically take one to two hours.
Blue Goose Estate Sales LLC offers different scenarios for sales. These include traditional in-house, in-person sales, group sales held in an off-site location, and on-line sales. Formal and informal appraisals are also available. Our off-site option is unique to the area. Sometimes families have only a small amount of items or can not host an in-house sale. For these situations we rent a large space and invite a few clients to bring their items.
Additional services are also available to clients including complete household clean-outs and preparation of homes for sale. We can arrange home cleanings as well as repairs with local, reputable contractors. Those options can all be discussed in the initial interview.
Our commission rate and fees vary according to your situation. Once we have an understanding of what kinds of services you are requesting, Blue Goose Estate Sales LLC will create a two-party agreement which outlines all costs, a list of services provided, dates for the sale/services, and obligations for the client. Once both of us have signed the agreement, we proceed with the sale. All fees will be collected from the proceeds.
Blue Goose Estate Sales LLC typically is booking sales three or more months in advance. We recommend contacting us early in the decision-making process and talking with us to determine if we are the right fit for you.
