I was in a very difficult position because I had three homes full of valuable family heirlooms. I really needed an educated, experienced, licensed appraiser who knew the true value of items that held a lot of sentimental value to me and my family. I interviewed a number of local companies who said they lived in the Atlanta area all their lives who claimed to know and understand their client base as well as antiques. Well, I decided not to hire them after I met Peter. Peter has been in the Antiques and Fine Art business in the Atlanta area for over 30 years. His sensitivity to my situation and knowledge of my family's heirlooms put me at immediate ease. Peter was straight and honest with me about the items' true value and what they would sell for. We were overwhelmed with the number of serious buyers who showed up at the sale and the amount that was sold. There was not very much left after the sale. Only a couple of very high quality antiques which Peter placed in Encore, his high end consignment store in Historic Roswell. Peter even went beyond his contractual obligation to me and consigned one of our most valuable paintings to his fine art gallery in Historic Roswell.
