The EstateSales.NET Marketplace: New and Upcoming Features
It’s here! The EstateSales.NET Marketplace is open for business. Now you can find and browse your local estate sales—just like always—but you can also shop, browse, and buy items from estate sale companies across the country, and have them shipped right to your door.
So you’ll notice a few changes on our website. And you can expect more in the coming days, weeks, and months. But change is a good thing. It means we’re growing and improving. So here’s what you can expect.
What’s new now
Shop for Items
You may have noticed the “Shop for Items” tab that appeared at the top of the EstateSales.NET homepage. That link sends you directly to our Marketplace page, where you can browse all the items currently available to buy or bid on the EstateSales.NET Marketplace. If you don’t feel like going out, or if you’ve exhausted all your local options when hunting for that missing fridgie to complete your Pyrex set, or that discontinued game you loved as a kid, you can access estate sales nationwide with the Marketplace.
Categories
You can shop the Marketplace by category to filter your results, making it easier to find just what you’re looking for.
Updated searching across EstateSales.NET
You don’t have to go directly to the Marketplace page in order to access all the treasures listed there—it’s integrated into EstateSales.NET. If you’re searching the EstateSales.NET homepage for a certain item, the search results will include both traditional and online sales.
Updated city pages
Similarly, when you search EstateSales.NET by city, you’ll find both traditional sales in the search results, as well as Marketplace estate sales and auctions run by companies in the area.
Local Pickup
Companies who list online sales have the option of offering their customers local pickup. If you can’t wait a moment longer to get your hands on the goodies you just bought, this might be the option for you.
Estate Sale Items Shipped to You
And the price of shipping is included in your purchase. No additional fees apply.
Discounts
If you’re not a first-day, front-of-the-line shopper, it’s likely that getting a second-day or last-day bargain is one of your favorite things about going to estate sales. We’ve brought those same deals online. The estate sale companies who list their items online can set dynamic estate sale pricing for any or all of the items in their sale, scheduling discounts as the hours or days pass. If you’re not sure about an item, check back later in the day, or the following morning. You might find a deal waiting for you. (Or you might find someone else has purchased it. It’s all part of the excitement of the sale!)

Treasure Tracker
Just like on EstateSales.NET, the Marketplace will include a Treasure Tracker. Let us know what it is you’re looking for, and we’ll send you an email when the item is available on the Marketplace.
Favoriting
Did you find a sale filled with items you think you want for your very own, and want to browse later? You will soon be able to “favorite” the individual items or the entire sale for many happy returns.
Reviews
*Did you have a great experience with an estate sale company, and you want others to know about it? We’ll soon offer a review function, and you can let people know how it went.
