The published day is the only day available for you to collect your items. ITEMS NOT COLLECTED ON THE SCHEDULED DAY WILL BE DEEMED ABANDONED.

Credit Card Pre-Authorization: When you register for this auction, you consent to a $1 authorization on the credit card you have on file. This is a hold only, it is not a charge. Please make sure that your credit card information is current, and that the address on your bidder profile is the same address used for your credit card statement.

Payment:
PLEASE NOTE – No payments will be accepted onsite at checkout. Your credit card will be billed immediately after the auction, and a receipt emailed to you. Should your credit card not support the charge, please make arrangements prior to pickup to pay the total amount due. Winning bidders will be required to produce a paid receipt at checkout in order to collect items from the auction. Please ensure you have proof of payment when you come to collect your items.

IMPORTANT: Winning bidders are responsible for packing smaller items, and dismantling, moving and loading furniture. Please ensure that you have your own labor, packing materials and equipment needed to collect your items.

Gates Estates, LLC is proud to announce we have been chosen to help sell a portion of the Richmond Times-Dispatch Art Collection. This exciting collection features such favorites as Nancy Witt, Joseph E. Burrough, III, Ryan Russell, Brett Busang, Agnes Carbrey, Debby Souders, Roomy Pak, David Camden, and many more. A very comprehensive collection of local, regional, southeastern, nationally, and internationally known artists are represented here, in many mediums, sizes, and styles. The original purchase dates are provided, where available, as a point of reference. We are able to offer several paintings and sculptures, an assortment of photographs from recognized photojournalists, as well as a curated collection of fine art prints. Please be cognizant of the sizes of the pieces as the photographs tend to depict items as being uniform in size. All dimensions are in whole inches, width preceding depth preceding height, where applicable. • All items, lots, or components of such are sold AS IS/WHERE IS, with you, the buyer being solely responsible for its removal.

• Any items not removed during the pickup times will become the property of the Seller (unless prior arrangements have been made). Items will be subject to an additional $100 storage fee; moving fees may be applicable. If the items are not picked within one week (seven days), the items will be considered abandoned and/or forfeited by the buyer.

We do everything we can to illuminate any defects, however we may not always notice them ourselves. If you find a disparity or discrepancy in our photographs or our descriptions, please let us know and we shall make every effort to correct the error. Please do not assume that you are bidding on either the photograph or the description if they are not in agreement. We endeavor to be as accurate as possible in our identification and our description of the items, oftentimes using information from trusted professionals, owners, family members, or other sources.
