1. Children are always welcomed but must be accompied by a parent at all times.
2. Please watch your step, we are not responsible for any accidents.
3. Please do not hoard items and then decide not to purchase them, this may result in a missed sale for our client.
4. Make sure to inspect your items they are sold as is, no refunds or exchanges.
5. Our staff will move all large items out of the house, this helps to reduce the risk of damage to both the house and your purchases.
6. The state of VA requires us, as a business, to collect sales tax. Please expect this unless you have a valid VA tax exempt number and your supporting documentation.
7. Numbers are at 8:30 and not before.
8. No need to bring bags, boxes or paper we have plenty on site to protect your breakables.
This 1921 House is full of treasures on all three floors and detached garage! We have been on a little vacation but Aardvark is back and ready to present this honey hole of a house to you. This sale boasts an array of literature for all types of reading connoisseurs'. In the garage/tent area you will find an array of tools, saws, a vintage mahogany store cabinet, vintage doors, camping lanterns, vintage sink, and many more items to be found in the garage/tent area. The foyer contains numerous Asian inspired pieces, rosewood desk, a beautiful Eastlake loveseat. The office (my personal favorite room) you will find a sea of books. Swimming in the sea is a vintage teaching diagram of the fifth cranial nerve, a stack of records, numerous hymnals, and lots of little nic-nacks. The living room has a corner curio cabinet, a stained glass lamp, a spinning wheel, and several pieces of large framed art. The dining room contains a matched set of a table, chairs, and china cabinet. There are shelves stacked full of of glass wares of all types including tea cups, a large glass punch bowl with 36 cups, ladle, and underplate, tons of blue and white china, and many many more. If you love watermelons, the kitchen is for you! Plus there is restaurant ware, Pyrex, and some small appliances. The kitchen nook has a very rustic table and chairs, another punch bowl and a stock pile of aluminum and silver plated items. The sunroom has all the wicker furniture you need for summer including a love seat, chair, and several side tables. The basement has numerous vases and planters, a billiards light, more books, and much more. Upstairs you will find the Christmas room full of goodies. The master bedroom has a beautiful Eastlake bed and marble top dresser. Accenting it are two Victorian lady’s chairs and a tiger oak desk. The green bedroom has all the linens you could ever imagine. There are FOUR handmade quilts and and lady’s clothing. The pink room has a treasure trove of small figurines by napco and left on to name a few. There is also a cool mid century style dresser with mirror that’s worth checking out.
