The house is something of a mystery to me...simple and plain on the outside but PACKED with stunning antiques and finds from Leo Burke, Williams Sherrill, Thomas Hines, Restoration Hardware, local designers, Crate and Barrel, mid century and so much more...
We have a Grandfather (Case Clock) clock from 1780, 3 corner cabinets in very distinct styles (antique and dreamy), Sterling silver from the 1800's, Stunning RUGS, Super fun china sets and crystal - but great everyday dishes from Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. Pottery from Italy, Portugal and lots of hand thrown garden pieces! Mid century dining table and chairs and a ton of true Mid century art! Superb cow hide rug too! Biggs side chair, 4 antique reverse painted mirrors, shower curtains to custom draperies...EVERYTHING MUST GO!
Great jewelry selection....14kt, .925 and vintage costume! And, did I mention BOOKS? So many I have to flat rate to save time. Most beautiful art and coffee table books I have ever seen! And I have them by the dozens!
I found a ANTIQUE Singer sewing machine - in the original box today, fun old camera gear, Alexis Reel to Reel for old movies, lots of car jacks and 2 brand new ceiling fans! The garage has 2 new screen doors (still in plastic!), HUGE mid century solid wood dining table ( seats 12 with leaves in) , wacky mid century art....the biggest bolt cutter ever - turns out it is a horn trimmer for cattle!f! Shelves, pottery and an old Japanese smoker...the original green egg! Holiday lights galore, 4 NEW out of the box topiaries from Neiman Marcus - they are simply too pretty to miss..."C" Wonder Plates, fireplace screens, amazing pieces of Herend and Limoges. Superb selection of wacky costume jewelry - including signed vintage pieces.
Edwardian Bookshelf, Cedar chests, cedar wardrobe, desks and office furniture from crate and barrel, garden pieces, amazing kitchen items, full set of Dansk "Mesa" dishes, microwave, full size antique bed, LINENS, custom duvets, super cute metal bamboo round kitchen table with chairs, amazing selection of lamps from Shade of Light, marble fruit, coffee tables from Restoration Hardware and West Elm, Draperies, MIRRORS, and a basement full of the stuff from the attic. It can seat up to 12 comfortably - it has the most amazing inlay around the edge with 2 pedestal legs...off the charts beautiful! Chippendale chairs from Thomas Hines circa 1890. Full size room screens - 1 is hand painted - and to die for. The garage has 2 smokers (NEW), TOOLS, old doors, screens, outdoor chairs, a like new tiller, display cabinets, more tools and some other crazy stuff that I just can't fit into the house. AND,- racks of Free People, Anthropologie, Neimans, Saks and other designer label clothes! 25 pairs of designer jeans - ALL PRICED TO MOVE!
We have a great selection of LEGOS! The lego kits range from Harry Potter to rare Star wars sets - all complete and ready for the Christmas Tree. Speaking of Christmas items...tons of Spode Holiday dishes, vintage ornament wreath, boxes of lights, hand blown ornaments, and 4 lighted topiaries. Closet full of Mini Boden, J Crew and other designer Kids clothing...North Face jackets and lots of fun toys and games (still in box). We have brass candlesticks and funky, fun little's...this house is all over the place and should be a must see for your October weekend.
