Terms

1. To place a bid, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees. You also agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with Caring Transitions and that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.

2. We have made every effort to describe items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold as is, where is. The working order of any electronic and mechanical devices is not guaranteed, and any dimensions given may be approximate.

3. No refunds will be given under any circumstance. Any items you do not pick up during the scheduled pickup time and do not explicitly ask to be shipped will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.

4. An 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to each of your final winning bid amounts.

5. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you place a bid, you are committed to purchasing and picking up or making shipping/delivery arrangements for your respective item(s). Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.

6. Listings follow a soft close protocol. Extra time may be added to end times to allow bidders more time to win. This will give you time to receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid; it is meant to mimic the dynamics of a live auction, where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before making the sale.

7. Receipts are e-mailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. All dues under five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) will be auto charged for the total amount to the primary card on file in your user profile, not including shipping and handling, which are invoiced separately via PayPal. Purchases over five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) will require an auto-charge of 10% of the invoice total. Remaining payment for such invoices must be handled between you and the seller; the invoice must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for items won. If you do not pick the item(s) up during the scheduled pickup time, Caring Transitions and Estate Renewal Services reserves the right to charge your payment method on file for the total purchase price of the item plus a $40.00 restocking fee. You hereby expressly grant Caring Transitions and Estate Renewal Services the right to hold a winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received by Caring Transitions.

8. If you win, and we do not receive payment or hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will be forfeited and resold to the next highest bidder. Additionally, your bidding privileges may be revoked. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped, and items to be shipped cannot be removed from the estate without payment having been received.

9. The exact details surrounding the scheduled pickup will be on the invoice/receipt e-mailed to you after the auction closes.

10. If you win, you must be available—or arrange for—the pickup or shipping of purchases on the scheduled pickup date. You are required to bring necessary tools and help to pick up large items; loading assistance may not be available on site.

11. Local pickup is preferred, but shipping is available for most lots upon request: If you require shipping on a shippable lot (see the listing for information on whether a given lot is shippable), please reach out to auction@estaterenewal.com following the close of the sale. Items will be shipped at the buyer's expense, and an additional $12.00 handling charge will be invoiced per package. If you asked for your items to be shipped, please keep an eye out for an invoice for shipping and handling from Estate Renewal Services via PayPal. Your package(s) will be posted shortly after payment for shipping and handling is received.

12. Caring Transitions and Estate Renewal Services reserves the right to contact you using your phone number or e-mail address.
