This is the second part of our 5-day sale, basically of artwork done by living artist, Patty O'Brien.  I have removed from this announcement  photos of items already sold.  We are continuing our discount system in order to sell the remainder.  On Saturday, 15 August, discount will be 65% off tagged prices.  On Sunday, 16 August, discount will be 85% off tagged prices.  Remember that we have a delayed starting time of 9am (instead of our usual 8am) because of Montebello management requirements.

Judy O'Brien's art styles are predominantly impressionist with some interest in abstracts, done in acrylic on canvas or artist board.  The paintings range in size from 4" square to 2-1/2' h x 5'w.  There is also one triptych, inspired by Monet's water lilies painting.  Many of her paintings exude what I call "edible colors" because I see chocolate brown, mint green, raspberry red.  In addition to the paintings, there are a few framed limited edition prints, many unframed limited edition prints, small magnetized-back miniature prints, note cards.

In addition to the artwork, there are art supplies, easels, foam core, wall stands.  You will find family antiques, mostly in the bedroom and main room.  They include a 4-poster bed, pewter plates and RARE ink stands, a rare cylindrical painter's box of tin painted black, glass oil lamps, British "blue onion" pattern china, blue/white spatterware.

To enter the building from the front entrance, after entering the first door, press "288" on the telephone keypad.  To enter from the back door, lift your face to the camera as you press the door buzzer.

Look forward to another good time in a clean well-lit air-conditioned condo.

If you can help out, I am looking for someone who can (a) work on table lamps, either to cut down metal posts, repair/replace sockets, or rewire (we will provide the parts needed); (b) cut horizontal slices out of turned posts so that we can make and offer for sale wood display stands for small objects (we have the posts); (c) translate 19th-20th century Arabic calligraphy from photos (I can provide).  Many thanks.

UPDATE as of Friday evening of 14 August:  This morning I was shown a storage cage associated with the unit where we are having the sale.  It has two imposing metal cabinets of print drawers that we are not able to move to the unit.  If you know anyone interested in such, please have them contact me.  For the artist, we also have three white particle board print racks that hold large paintings or frames and two white particle board cabinets.  We brought three large frames from the storage cage up to the unit.  Like the clear goblets with molded color forms that we unwrapped today, these items will NOT be discounted as much as the remaining items in the sale.
