This weekend Sweet & Company has the honor of presenting a very special estate sale. This Williamsville townhome is an art deco and mid century time capsule! 

Our client’s grandparents purchased nearly an entire household suite of Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller furniture circa 1935-1940 including a No. 3425 Bentwood Pull-up Chair, a No. 3548 East Indian Laurel Desk, a No. 3454 East Indian Laurel Three Tier Bookshelf, a No. 3437 East Indian Laurel Utility Cabinet, a Burlwood Side Chair, a No. 3622 Credenza, a No. 3622 Tall Cabinet, a Dining Table and Six Chairs, a No. 3770 Rosewood Vanity, a No. 362 Ottoman, a Pair of No. 3770 Rosewood Twin Beds, a No. 3770 Rosewood Chest, a No. 3770 Rosewood Dresser, two No. 3770 Mirrors, an attributed floor lamp, and a No. 3687 Easy Chair.

Due to the unique nature of this collection, the Gilbert Rohde pieces may be sold in advance of the estate sale. This spectacular sale will also feature pieces by Kipp Stewart for Drexel, Westnofa Norway teak nightstands, Bill Curry table lamps, a Herman Miller Aeron office chair, a Milo Baughman style chrome coffee table, an art deco smoking stand, several contemporary Ethan Allen pieces, a butcher block table w/ primary color lacquered chairs, a pair of large figural table lamps by Marko, and oriental rugs. There are oil paintings by a listed artist, a woodblock print, Celtic prints, Russian Icons, an antique carved white jade dragon, sterling silver, art deco brass bird bookends, antique books, Marimekko textiles, a large Mackenzie Childs collection, Russian nesting dolls, a vintage Replogle Airways Globe and much more.
