Wilson Estate Tag Sale

Terms

-We will be accepting cash and cards as payment during this sale.
-Credit card surcharge of 2.75% will apply if card is used as payment
-Sorry, we do not accept checks.
-Patience is appreciated at this sale. Understand that the waiting process to get into the house AND the checkout process to pay for your items may or may not be speedy especially if there is a larger amount of shoppers at the sale. Check out staff will be serving one customer at a time and will serve the next person in line when the previous customer's transaction is 100% complete.
-A numbered controlled entry system will be used at our sale. The numbers with sign up sheet will be available one hour prior to the sale. We will be limiting the amount of shoppers in the house at a time. Each person is required to have a number. If you are not present when we call your name and number, we will move on to the next people in line. We will not honor your place in line if you are late arriving back.
-NC sales tax will be collected at this sale as per the NC Department of Revenue recent policy. If you are tax exempt, please bring a copy of your resale tax exemption certificate for us to keep on file with our company. We will not grant requests for tax exemption unless we have a copy.
-Please bring help to load large items. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU LOAD ITEMS during the sale. We are not responsible for damage to these items as they are being moved.
-Please do not block the driveway nor park on neighboring properties. Please do not block the neighbors' driveways.
-There will be NO restroom facilities available on site.
-Please bring some packing materials for your treasures. We may not have enough for everyone on hand. Shoppers will be responsible for wrapping and packing their own treasures.
-All items are sold as is, where is, no guarantees. Buyers are FULLY responsible for testing electronics and/or appliances before purchase. Buyers are FULLY responsible for looking over their items prior to purchase. Gander & Gavel Auction Co. LLC will not grant refunds or exchanges for any nonworking items and/or items with damage (ie: chips, cracks, etc)
-We are not responsible for any items shoppers choose to leave at the register area to be held. We will do our best to watch your items, but we cannot be held responsible
-We do not offer delivery of items
-COVID19 STATEMENT: Covid19 cases are rising again. Our company is keeping close watch on current events. Gander & Gavel Auction Co. LLC reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reformat (ie: online auction as opposed to tag sale) this sale AT ANY TIME if one or more of our staff members contracts covid19 in the days before a sale or at anytime during the sale. The safety and health of our client, our staff, and customers takes priority above all else. Our company provides masks and sanitizer at the door for anyone who needs a mask.
-All items must be removed by 4 PM Sunday August 22nd. No exceptions. Any items left after this time will be forfeited and disposed of with no refund granted. We will not be taking any offers on items after the close of this sale. Any items of interest must be purchased during the hours of the sale.
-All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds
-We will not reduce prices on the first day. This includes asking to buy items up in bulk on the first day with the hopes of obtaining a "wholesale" price.
-We will not grant requests for pre sale in person previews.
-Sorry, no pre sales or post sales
-We will not grant requests for shoppers to remove single items out of box lots. If there is an item of interest, the whole box/container must be purchased
-We take shoplifting very seriously.
*Tag switching and/or switching lot items is considered theft.
If you are caught stealing, understand we will call the police and turn you over to law enforcement. Gander & Gavel Auction Co. LLC and/or the estate may decide to prosecute anyone caught stealing to the fullest extent of the law.
Gander & Gavel Auction Co. LLC may choose to inspect items at the time of checkout including but not limited to: furniture drawers, suitcases, bags, boxes, containers, etc.
-Gander & Gavel Auction Co. LLC keeps information on file of anyone caught stealing at our sales. Anyone caught stealing, including tag/lot switchers, will be permanently banned on the first offense from all future sales with our company including auctions.
