BIDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) or making shipping arrangements. Please DO NOT bid if you do not plan to purchase. If you default on your agreement to purchase, your bidding privileges will be suspended.
If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pickup of your items on the scheduled pickup date, unless you have made prior shipping arrangements.
Pick-up for this sale will be on Saturday, April 24th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in Salisbury, NC 28147. The full address will be on winning bidders’ invoices, and you must schedule an appointment for a time-slot.
Bring necessary tools, dollies, and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement, or out-building.
Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed. Full payment must be made by Thursday, April 22nd at 12:00 NOON. You will have the option to pay with your PayPal account or use a debit/credit card as a guest in PayPal.
If we do not hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will be forfeited and resold to the next highest bidder, and your bidding privileges will be suspended.
Shipping is available at the buyer’s expense plus handling fees. Please see SHIPPING section for additional details. NOT ALL LOTS CAN BE SHIPPED – NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, AND OTHER LARGE ITEMS.
All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Payments are not accepted on pickup day. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment. If payment is not received before the local pickup date and time, the items will be forfeited and bidding privileges suspended.
The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the winning bidders’ invoice emailed after the close of the auction.
All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.
A 15% Buyer’s Premium and a 7.00% North Carolina Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
We have made every effort to describe items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given are approximate.
Questions: ALL questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) calendar days.
