N.C. Dept. of Revenue requires all Estate Sale companies to charge 7.25% sales tax for all purchases unless you have a valid sales Tax number. If you have a number you need to present us with a filled out tax form E 595 E that shows your tax ID information before you purchase. We will have some blank forms on hand.

 This is the Estate art of Ferree Studios  in Raleigh.  T. S. Ferree Jr. operated an art school from the 40's to the 50's and then opened an Advertising Art Studio in 1934 which closed years ago. Lots of famous artist worked in this agency such as James Keith Birdsong, Krystoforski, Walt Obman, roger Brantley and more.  T. S. Ferree Jr. was born circa 1922 near Ashboro, N.C. and educated at N.C. State College, the American Academy and Art Institute of Chicago. He opened Ferree Studios in 1934, serving primarily advertising agencies in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. During World War II he served as Consultant on Health Education for the Surgeon General, producing printed materials on tropical and venereal diseases. In 1947 he opened the Ferree School of Art which he operated until 1953. Ferree was active in Toastmasters and regional advertising organizations, serving a term as District Governor for the Advertising Federation of America. His design for the North Carolina Bicentennial medallion won a competition sponsored by the Franklin Mint.

T.S. Ferree Jr. was a commercial artist, graphic designer and advertising executive based in Raleigh, N.C. There are around 80 pieces of art from this agency left over from the daughter of Mr. Ferree along with lots of art books and art supplies. These pieces of art will be sold in the building behind the home in North Hills. There will be an Estate Sale going on in the home while the art studio will feature the art, supplies and part of the daughters jewelry collection!
