This will be a CASH ONLY sale. Sorry, but there will be no exceptions. If you are not prepared to handle a cash only situation, you will need to go to an ATM. We will hold items up to an hour if you need to go get cash. We have never taken credit/debit cards. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but are advising you up front of this cash only situation.
Hours are as follows...
- on Friday, doors open at 8am, close at 2pm. Line numbers will be given out at 7 am.
- on Saturday, doors open at 8am, close at 2pm
- on Sunday, doors open at 8am, close at 2pm
You will have until 2pm Sunday to pick up any large purchases made up until then.
Pricing Structure:
Prices are marked and are firm on our first day, Friday
On Saturday, our second day, we will be 25% off of the marked prices
On our final day, Sunday, we will be half off.
This is one of two sales we are having in Affton this weekend, both of them being very close to each other. We are near Heege and Mathilda with this particular sale, and our other sale is off of Mackenzie across from the old St. Dominics Savio Church. Please note the staggered starting times. This particular sale starts at 8am and we close at 2pm. Our other sale is our standard 9am until 1pm times. Because of the staggered starting times, you should be able to make both sales. Because this is a little bit bigger house and has a full basement, this is definitely the bigger of the two sales. Each sale is just as good as the other one but, the stuff is very different in each of the two sales. So, you seriously need to attend both sales.
Now, on to what this sale is all about. . . The biggest feature with this sale will be the Lionel Trains. When we first got into this home, this was a full train layout in a separate room in the basement. However, we broke it all up, and are selling the set piece by piece. There are some wonderful trains and equipment in this old Lionel set. Throughout the house, we also have quite a bit of HO scale trains and accessories. Much of it brand new and in original boxes.
We have some great die cast cars, older toys and lots of great mid century era barware, lighting, Brewania and 60's and 70's games.
This was a very religious family and there is a plethora of religious items including crosses, rosaries, religious books and religious photos.
We will have some great movies both on DVD's and VHS along with lots of great movie sets.
The garage is packed with great tools including hand tools, lawn and garden tools and just some great overall garage stuff.
Everything in the house goes including appliances.
As always the staff of Al's Estate Sales will gladly load up anything you purchase during the 3 days and you will have until 2pm Sunday to pick up anything you buy over the weekend.
This is a big weekend for us and we hope you will be attending both of our great sales we are presenting to you this weekend. We can't wait to see you all again.
