Your bid is a contract. Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. If you are the successful and winning bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property bid on from the seller. You should contact the seller to resolve any questions before bidding.

Such information is presented solely for the convenience of the Purchaser. Blackswan Antiques makes no warranties of any kind related to the information presented in any listing. Blackswan Antiques further makes no warranties, either express or implied, relating to the value, marketability, or condition of the lot described in any listing. Prospective bidders should investigate a lot thoroughly before bidding. By bidding the Bidder acknowledges that Bidder has investigated the lot to his or her satisfaction, or, that Bidder has chosen not to do so, and agrees to accept the lot being bid on with no objections after the sale closes. PAYMENT.
INVOICES: DO NOT CONTACT THE AUCTION UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AND READ THE INVOICE EMAIL. SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS WILL RECEIVE THEIR INVOICES BY EMAIL ON THE AFTERNOON OF THE BUSINESS DAY FOLLOWING THE AUCTION. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER IN THE CASE YOU DO NOT SEE THE EMAIL IN YOUR INBOX.
PAYMENT FOR ITEM TOTAL IS DUE WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE AUCTION. No lots will be released until payment in full has been made. Payment (in U.S. funds) may be made via personal check or money order, PayPal or Bank Wire Transfer. There will be a 4% service fee for PayPal transactions and a $35 service fee for Bank Wire Transfer.
Unpaid accounts 15 days post-sale are subject to a 2% monthly finance charge; administrative fees may also apply. Each returned check is subject to a $50 service charge. Merchandise not removed within 2 weeks of the sale is subject to a storage fee.
INTERNET BIDDING. Our Company is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Our Company or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Our Company will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid are acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Our Company reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.

CONSIGNORS: Consignors are not permitted to bid on their items. This is called "shill bidding" and is illegal by Michigan Auction Law standards. By placing your item up for auction, you have agreed to sell by the terms of the consignment agreement.

GENERAL TERMS & INFORMATION: Employees and associates of the auction house are permitted to purchase lots at competitive bidding under the same terms, rules, and regulations as the general public.

Bidder also Understands, Acknowledges & Agrees that any Legal Action Taken Against Our Company will Result in Possible Countersuits and also agrees to pay any Legal, Court & Attorney Fees incurred by Our Company.
