     We have been super busy this past month, picking up and bringing to our showroom the contents of two estates, having items delivered to us from a third estate, 5 more requests for sales in the next 2 months,  continuing renovation of our third warehouse.  We have purged more books and donated more small items to make space for incoming ones.  We have purchased 2 large well-lit mirrored back locking showcases to display larger sterling items, more expensive porcelains, and artwork.  Our offerings in some areas continue to increase:  200+ more CDs, 40+ more DVDs, 8 more fabric rolls, one more Bose system (we now have 3), 4 more flat screen TVs (we now have 17).  We have been offering flat screen TVs at 20% of market price but few takers.  Please let us know why this pricing is not working.

     This month will be your last chance to purchase certain items before we send them to auction, so please let us know your price level of interest in an antique tavern table, mid-century modern/Scan design tables and lamps, dining table/chair combinations, MUCH framed artwork including paintings, prints, rugs, Mason & Hamlin upright piano @ $154, miniatures @ $1 each.

      As you walk around, note more small rugs on the floors, rearrangements of furniture, highlighted items on pedestals.  We have more table lamps placed around as well as more wall mirrors, and more bed frames of many different styles, more occasional chairs.  We have emptied and reloaded 3 cases with costume jewelry.  We have also arranged 6 tall display cabinets/bookshelves/storage closets for sale.

      What is new is a large collection of Japanese items accumulated by a couple living 8 years in Japan that include flower arrangers (would you recognize an "usubatu"?), figurines, porcelain plates, vases/jars, silk embroideries, child kimonos, obis, framed paintings on silk, teak and camphor chest/cabinets, 2 nests of tables, hanging scroll weights, soji screens.  We have from the same client MANY small cabinets and display stands.  You may find just the size you need to store items in a hallway or small room.   For the men this time, we have brand new sz 16 dress shirts,  good condition sz 10-11 shoes and cowboy boots.   For those of you collecting African wood carvings, look for a table with 12 masks/figures that we just received.

     It looks like spring is finally here.  Now that you are looking at yard work, we have a lawnmower, MANY hand tools, outdoor planters, hedge trimmers, rakes, spades, sprinklers including a "cute" miniature tractor sprayer, hanging flower pots that we just picked up.  Our supply of hand tools and hardware has grown, so pick out what you need in the way of pliers, wrenches, screw drivers, masonry tools.
