Due to limited We are pleased to be liquidating this wonderful estate in Frederick, Maryland. The home is absolutely packed with wonderful treasures spanning many decades.

Our jewelry, collectibles, art are all priced but a few rooms plus the garage will all be "make a deal areas" so again, BRING SOME BOXES! For your safety & shopping pleasure, we will have to limit the amount of folks in the house but you will be allowed to shop the garage/driveway while waiting to get into the main house.

- Our Estate Sale signs say Sat/Sun 9am - THE FRIDAY HOURS WILL NOT BE ON THE SIGNS BUT WE WILL BE OPEN SO DONT BE CONFUSED - WE ARE ADDING FRIDAY (10am-2pm) DUE TO THE MERCHANDISE VOLUME OF THIS SALE, it was simply too big for our normal 2 day events. 

PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING:

NUMBERS SYSTEM - For those wanting first entry to the sale on Day 1 (Friday), we give out #s approx. 8:00am for a nice, orderly opening at 10am. We will be staying on-site Thursday night for security reasons - please do not come up the driveway till Bob comes out with the numbers or the alarm will go off - it is LOUD.  On Day 2 & 3 (Sat/Sun) #s will be available by approx. 7:30am. Once you get a # you can go get breakfast and return a few minutes till 10 for line-up.  Since this sale has a large amount of jewelry, we may limit the first wave so our jewelry cases aren't overrun. Much of the costume jewelry will be out on tables for you to inspect - anyone wishing to make a purchase will be required to hand it to us for safe keeping until checkout. All fine jewelry will be shown one piece at a time out of our cases by our staff and, again, any purchases will be held at the cashier until you are ready to check out. Treat this method as you would if it were your own parents estate and we all will have a wonderful, smooth opening - we don't tolerate anything less. Thanks!

WHY FOLKS LOVE OUR ESTATE SALES & FAQ's – NEWBIES PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING:

Smitty's Estate Liquidators is one of the last “old school – on-site estate liquidation companies” in the area.  WE WILL NEVER open early if all #s are not present, never pre-sell items, we don’t ship or sell online, we don’t hold items or take payment info over the phone – SIMPLY COME TO THE SALE AND GET IN LINE – IT’S THE ONLY FAIR WAY TO OPERATE A SALE. WE NEVER "SALT THE MINE" by bringing in items not original to the estate. We do not consign, sell for the estate online, we do not have a store, we do not keep remaining items to resell elsewhere, or any other nonsense - WE JUST  SELL THE GREAT ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN IN THE ESTATE FOR DECADES ON-SITE TO YOU, the rest goes to charity and we move on. We also do not give out price information prior to sale day – again, just come to the sale. Final Sale Day we will discount items (usually 50%) as well as make deal/pile prices for unpriced household items.  IMPORTANT – You will get a much better deal a few hours before final day close than a few minutes before closing, a good negotiation is at 11am, not 5 mins till closing. Doors are locked and our cashier & credit card machines are shut down right at stated closing time to finalize our accounting. Be sure to ALLOW PLENTY OF TRAVEL & SHOPPING TIME. In some cases when we are very busy in a full house, we may even stop allowing folks into the house BEFORE stated closing time to insure we close on time – again – PLAY IT SAFE AND COME EARLY. Our great sale this week runs 14 hours over 3 Days – that’s plenty of time to come do some shopping. We accept CASH, CREDIT & DEBIT – sorry no checks and no returns. We also comply with all state & federal regulations - therefore we DO NOT SELL alcohol, firearms, taxidermy, outlawed materials, fireworks, ect - if you find something illegal in the house we somehow overlooked - sorry, we wont sell it to you. Most important - ESTATE SALES ARE FUN! Come smile, shop for bargains, & enjoy yourself - our wonderful, happy, regulars get GREAT DEALS! Trouble makers and poor negotiators never get the same great deals. SEE YOU ALL AT THE SALE!

6% Maryland Sales Tax Applies - *Dealer/ Tax-Exempt purchases must be accompanied by your up to date MARYLAND ONLY Sales & Use Certificate unless you are already in our system.

Plenty of parking but please do not block driveways and be sure to treat all neighbor’s lawn with care. Early birds - please remember weekends are most folks day off - keep the noise to a minimum when waiting out front.
