We do not give out numbers for lining up at the sale, so line up early. The Occasional Wife is pleased to present our Estate Sale for The Catholic Bookstore at 3003 S Carrolton Avenue in New Orleans on Friday and Saturday April 19-20th from 8AM to 2PM. Founded by Ms. Florence Henderson, this beloved bookstore is closing its doors after 85 years in operation at two different locations. You will find Christian and religious books here, in addition to books on philosophy, history and historic persons. There are religious medallions, some small jewelry, and cards. Multiple prints of painter David Dillard's series of New Orleans cathedrals are also available for sale, they are lovely and inspiring!
Book lovers - you will delight at these sturdy library carts! Also available - good storage and display pieces for home/office/business/flea market. Double-sided bookcases and rounded book display units could be perfect for your business, or home - and they are well made! There are a number of display set ups for small books, cards, pamphlets, photographs, small prints + other artwork as modular, rotating, and wall-mounted. Do you have a booth at JazzFest, or another outdoor event venue? Take a LQQK at the mobile display pieces in our photos below and come to the estate sale!
Need some office furniture? There are modular desks, beautiful oak desks, bookcases, seating, a small round meeting table, paper cutting roller, plants, and a few kitchen supplies. We also have an "OPEN" flag and other retail business necessities.
