Bidding means you have read, understand, and accept our Terms and Conditions below. After reading the terms and conditions below, email firstcoastctbids@outlook.com for clarification if you have any questions before you bid.

1. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase and all sales are final. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are required to purchase and pick up your item(s) or make shipping arrangements. If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked, and you will be suspended from bidding on CTBIDS until all fees are paid and issues sufficiently addressed.

2. PACKING & SHIPPING IS EXPENSVE. We do not recommend that you bid on items that are low value if they need to be shipped. By bidding you agree that we are taking items to our preferred packer/shipper and if you refuse to work with them, we charge a handling fee that charges at $80/hr with a 30 minute minimum in order to take items to another packer/shipper. If an item is not marked as shippable, that indicates we do not recommend shipping that item. If you choose to bid, and require shipping, proceed very cautiously. Additional details related to shipping are provided below.

3. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. If you have concerns, you must address them during pickup. It is your responsibility to make certain you pickup all items you have purchased. We make every effort to describe this item as accurately as possible with any defects. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate. For items with bids over $300, please contact firstcoastctbids@outlook.com to determine if a preview is available.

4. To place a bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees. You also agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with Caring Transitions and that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.

5. Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases over five thousand dollars ($5,000) will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller; invoice must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for items won. If delivery or shipping is offered by Seller, then you must select your desired item receipt method on the receipt upon the close of the sale. A delivery invoice will be created, and charges will be discussed between you and the Seller; a delivery invoice must be paid before receiving items. If you do not elect a fulfillment method and do not pick the item(s) up during the scheduled pickup time outlined on the Seller location Terms and Conditions or your Receipt, Caring Transitions reserves the right to charge your payment method on file for the greater of the total purchase price of the item plus any applicable handling fees. You hereby expressly grant Caring Transitions the right to hold a winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received by Caring Transitions.



6. Loading assistance is not available. If you bid, you are purchasing items “AS-IS, WHERE IS” and you MUST be available to pick up your purchases on the scheduled pick up-date Any special requests will be managed at our discretion and will be subject to handling and/or delivery fees. The exact address of the pickup will be on the invoice. Please bring the necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Any items paid for but not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. The Bidder who does not pick up or make prior arrangements will be charged an abandonment/handling fee and may be suspended from future bidding until abandonment and reinstatement fees are addressed.

7. Same-day-as-auction pickup for local-delivery for items that are not fragile and require extensive packing. The base fee will be $75 for up-to 3 items within a 7-mile radius and then $4/mile for each additional mile. $10/item charge after the first 3. Items will be placed in the garage or inside the door only with no other furniture being moved. No Stairs inside the home. There will be additional charges if extensive assembly/ disassembly, stairs involved, or packing is required. Someone must be available during the pick-up day to take delivery in order for these rates to apply. We also offer more flexible delivery options at standard moving rates.

8. Packing and Shipping for Long Distance Shipping is available at the buyer's expense through a separate legal entity. If prior arrangements are made, we drop off at our preferred shipper free as a courtesy if your account is in good standing. If you prefer to engage the services of another shipper, you must arrange for them to pick up your items on pickup day during your scheduled time. If we drop off at our shipper and then you require us to pick up and transport to another packer/shipper, an additional service fee of $80/hour with a 30 minute will be applied. Please contact us at firstcoastctbids@outlook.com if you would like an estimate. Shipping is expensive so consider these costs prior to bidding. After you pay your invoice (see item #2 above) you must email Firstcoastctbids@outlook.com and inform us of your need for shipping services 2 days prior to the scheduled auction pickup date in order avoid forfeiting items (see point #3 above). Provide your name, phone, email address, the ITEM NAME(s) that require shipping, and the shipping destination. Then our packing/shipping partner will contact you with the firm shipping quote within 7 days of the original auction pickup date. You have 7 days to respond after the quote is sent. If you fail to make payment or remove the items within 7 days of receiving their quote, you will forfeit the item(s) (see item #3 above). If you have denied shipping from our preferred shipper previously, our preferred shipper will not accept your items so you must make arrangements to have them picked up on pickup day to avoid forfeiture.

9. Listings times have a soft close. Extra time may be added to ending times to allow bidders more time to win. This will give you time to receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid and mimics what happens in a live auction where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before making the sale.

10. A 15% Buyers Premium will be charged for each lot sold.

11. Caring Transitions reserves the right to retract bids and/or end listings whenever necessary.

12. Tax: 7.5%
