Reminisce with Kathy Milford, CT Estate sale April 20^{th &} 21^st

Contents of Milford harbor home containing numerous large collections, the house is packed with vintage and antique collectibles. This sale is highlighted with a massive collection of Masonic memorabilia that took a lifetime to obtain. Another lifetime collection of autographs and a generational documented collection of over 600 19^th Century & early 20^th Century mustache cups.

There is a nice assortment of vintage costume jewelry, men’s watches and pocket watches from Omega, Seiko, Girard Perregaux, Waltham and Whittnauer. Vintage insurance company signs line the walls from the 1950’s and 1960’s, case collectibles including, later coins, tokens casino chips, lighters, pipes, world’s fair, pinbacks, still banks, pens, vintage doll furniture and vintage ephemera fill the cases. There are 50's, 60’s & 70’s baseball cards of mostly Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers and Mets stars including Jackie Robinson, Mantle, Maris, Mays, Reese, Clementz, Ford, Hodges, Snider, Aaron and Berra. We have a large 19^th Century collection of napkin rings and figural napkin rings in Sterling, wood, silver-plate, brass, bone and plastic, Lalique, Gucci and Louis Vuitton all make appearances. 

The lifelong collection of Masonic includes badges, medals, ribbons, pins, tacks, sashes, hats, jewelry, postcards, awards, flags, ephemera and 100’s of books. This is an international collection however there is a concentration on the New York and Connecticut chapters. Eastern Star and Lions Clubs International also make an appearance.

The autograph collection was obtained during the 1940’s-80’s and includes movie stars, sitcom stars, musicians, producers, politicians and models on photos, albums, posters, covers, letters, cards and articles.

There are mustache cups in every size and shape, most of which are complete with their original under plates and some made for left hand use. French, German, American, English, Japanese and Chinese are all represented in Limoges, Majelica, Dresden, Meissen, Famille Rose, Satsuma, Shelly, Nippon, Ironstone, Minton’s, Flow Blue, Willow and Staffordshire. This is an extensive collection which has been written up in collectors and hobbyist journals.

Many more collectibles are in the house including 90+ Beatles 45’s, vintage toys and dolls, vintage Barbie and Ken appear numerous times with 100’s of accessories and outfits. There are composition dolls, vinyl dolls, GI Joe, Mego figures, vintage board games, Fisher Price, puzzles, premiums and Asian dolls. Almost everything is vintage and antique including advertising, cameras, medicinal, purses, handbags, clutches, hats, vintage Rocky Horror, posters, vintage locks, a huge stamp collection of American and international stamps in 15 large books, music albums, 78’s and 33’s.

Artwork includes small iron sculptures, antique prints, water colors and oils, awards, affiliations and degrees. There are vintage and antique books, children’s books and history books, antique & vintage lighting, engineering tools, slide rules, office tools, supplies and machines. Vintage electronics, computers, printers, office supplies, sets of dishes including Myott Staffordshire and Silver Clover with so much more too extensive to list.

Furniture to include: lovely vintage double pedestal walnut dining table with two leaves of banquet size, set of 5 walnut chairs with brass accents and upholstered seats, vintage mahogany lamp table with brass trim and side shelving, vintage tooled leather-top mahogany drum table with side drawers, mahogany kneehole desk, 1929 “Aeolian” player piano with 100’s of music rolls, motorized wheel chair, impressive large chandelier with loads of prisms, hospital bed, large hand crafted doll house, vintage room size Oriental rug, office desk chair, apartment size Igloo refrigerator, Mid-Century Modern chest with drop front desk top of walnut with matching king size headboard, men’s Art Deco valet, vintage metal dental cabinet and a Tomos Nitro gas scooter.

Directions: I-95 to exit 34, go south to left on Bridgeport Avenue to right on Seaside Avenue (just after Milford Hospital) to left on Miles Street. The sale is on Elder Street
